To examine the application and process the application for the term of validity of residence permit for foreigners according to the nationality of children for fosterage

Where the foreign children staying in Shanghai for over 1 year, they should go for procedures of fosterage.

1. Valid passports and visas of the children;

2. Notarial deed on fosterage;

3. Papers on residential registration;

4. Two colored full-faced photos taken recently;

5. To be accepted at the Department of Accepting Application for Certificates of Foreigners and examined at the Department of Examination and Approval on the application.

1. The foreigners aged over 16 are not asked to go for the procedures of fosterage;

2. To come to the Entry-Exit Administration Bureau of Shanghai to get a Notary Form prior to going to the notary office for notarization on the fosterage.
