Usually, university graduate look for their first job by going to job fairs, looking through advertisements, or turning to headhunters. After written tests or interviews, job offers are made. The two parties need to sign an agreement before making the final working contract. This agreement will be confirmed by and registered in the university. If the student is from a part of China outside Shanghai, the agreement needs to be confirmed by the Office of Higher Education Institution Graduation.
