Traveling disputes refer to conflicts and dissonance occurring in relevant activities during traveling between organs dealing in traveling services and the state department, legal persons or travelers, between internal departments of organs dealing in traveling services, or between travelers. When conflicts or dissonance mentioned above are reported to the state administrative organ or brought to the state justice department, they become cases of traveling disputes. The so-called "traveling disputes" is in broad sense, including disputes occurring in traveling and traveling cases.

Handling of traveling disputes refers to that disputes occurring during traveling can be settled appropriately legally. According to laws and regulations of China and actual conditions of traveling disputes, there are such four methods as negotiation, intermediation, arbitration and litigation in dealing with traveling disputes.
