a. If a motor vehicle with formal license plate of Shanghai changes its ownership within Shanghai, receipt and transaction ticket shall be issued by the specified second-hand motor vehicle market;

b. If the owner takes a new name not for changing the possession ownership or required by changing the affiliation or merge & cancellation of organizations, approval documents given by administration agencies or name alteration notices by business administrations shall be produced;

c. For address alterations, the ID for altered address shall be produced;

d. For alteration in engine or chassis, the certificate of the source of engines or chassis, and the certificate from repair factory or the owner organization shall be produced;

e. The transferred vehicles shall be within valid period of periodical inspection.

a. For transfer, fill the Application Form for Motor Vehicles Transfer, Transfer-out and Transfer-in Registration; for alteration, fill the Application Form for Motor Vehicles Alteration Registration;

b. The form shall have the seal of the organization for vehicles of organizations, and signature of the owner for private vehicles;

c. Produce the Registration Certificate of Motor Vehicles; for transfer without Registration Certificate of Motor Vehicles, the original copy and photocopy of the original owner of motor vehicles shall be produced;

d. The original copies and photocopies of the owner of motor vehicles (identification code and IC card for organizations, or ID for private car owners) (not required for alteration of engines, chassis or color);

e. Motor Vehicle Registration, Registration Form of Motor Vehicles (copy), photo of the vehicle.
