The driver administration organs (reception“counter”of the promotion section) of the branches and sub-branches of traffic and patrol police of public security of the local district or county of the driver, and relevant vehicle administration examination fields.

For those in compliance with the conditions of renewal, the license will be inspected on the spot and given to the driver. Relevant examination field of vehicle administration will be informed for renewal.

The motor vehicle drivers hold the Driver License of Motor Vehicles and record card of safety education (with records of 12 hours of safety education in a year), and the disposition of regulation violations and accidents has been finished; drivers holding A.B.N.P. driver license shall take physical examination for driving. The renewal shall be performed within 3 months before the expiration of the main copy of Driver License. If the main copy of Driver License is expired for less than a year, application can be submitted to the driver administration of the local branches and sub-branches of traffic and patrol police with written reasons and relevant certificates.

Inspect whether the main copy of Driver License is valid; whether the record of safety education is complete and valid; inspect the disposition of regulation violation and accidents; examine whether the physical examination is qualified; the qualified will be renewed.

The charging standard of the driver education in Shanghai Transport Safety School is 3 CNY / hour.
