Pudong Vehicle Inspection Field, Vehicle Management Agency of Headquarter of Traffic and Patrol Police, Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau; vehicle administration section of branches and sub-branches of traffic and patrol police of the districts and counties

For periodical inspection of vehicles, the qualified in the inspection will be handled on the spot.

a. Motor vehicles that have applied for formal number plate of Shanghai;

b. Motor vehicles that have applied for formal number plate of other province or municipality and consigned Shanghai for periodical inspection.

The vehicle applying for periodical inspection shall be well maintained and preserved that the vehicle is tidy, the machinery in good conditions and the number plates complete. The actual condition of the vehicle shall be the same with the Vehicle Registration.

a. Submit the Vehicle Registration for inspection;

b. Valid insurance card for third-party liability and certificate for collection of road fee;

c. For the inspection consigned to Shanghai by other province or municipality, the letter of consignation issued by the local vehicle administration shall be submitted for inspection;

d. For the inspection consigned to other province or municipality by Shanghai, an application shall be submitted, and approved and sealed by the branches and sub-branches of traffic and patrol police of the local district or county, and the letter of consignation is issued by Pudong Vehicle Inspection Field of the vehicle administration.

The periodical inspection of motor vehicles that have applied for formal number plate of Shanghai (except for municipal use) will be received by the vehicle administration section of branches and sub-branches of traffic and patrol police of the districts and counties. After the vehicles are inspected to be qualified by the motor vehicle safety inspection station of the districts and counties consigned by the vehicle administration, the formalities of signing the valid period will be finished. Vehicles of municipal agencies and consigned by other province or municipality for periodical inspection in Shanghai will be handled by Pudong Vehicle Inspection Field.

b. Re-inspection fee for motor vehicles: 10 CNY/Vehicle/Job, SH JiaFei (94) No. 28;

c. Inspection fee for motorbikes: 40 CNY/Vehicle/Time, SH JiaFei (94) No. 28;

d. Re-inspection fee for motor vehicles: 10 CNY/Vehicle/Job, SH JiaFei (94) No. 28; e. Commission for annual vehicle inspection (including the qualification certificate of annual inspection): 5 CNY/Vehicle/Time, SH JiaFei (94) No. 28.
