In addition to houses finished in future for which buyers can have forenotice registration, is there any protective measures for consumers in finished house trade?
(01/17/2004)

According to "Regulations on Real Estate Registration of Shanghai", when real estate registration is done out of real estate trade and exchange, agents concerned should apply for registration. If one party does not file in the application for registration, the other party can apply for forenotice registration. In other words, in trade for finished house or even trade for second-handed house, if one party wants to better protect his rights and interest, he can also apply to corresponding department for forenotice registration, and the registration fee is 50.00RMB per suite.
