How do we deal with private houses resided by overseas Chinese themselves or those rented private houses under the minimum size of reform?
(06/02/2004)

1) If the owner really needs his original houses back for residence after returning to China, the houses can be returned according to actual situation if approved. If there are more than one houses of original residence (including house in and not in the same city) and one place is larger, one house or part of it, including its ownership, can be returned to the original owner. The rest will be compensated in cash according to the remaining value. 2) Rented private houses under the minimum size of reform shall be compensated in cash according to its remaining value.
