The examination decision shall be made within 20 working days after the
health authorities accept the application
Foreign medical practitioner having obtained legitimate practicing right,
personnel who is invited, employed or applying to conduct clinical diagnosis,
curing activities no long than one year in China.
II. Scope of acceptance:

1. Application of Foreign Medical Practitioner for Short-term Practicing in
China
2. Academic diploma of foreign practitioners and Chinese translated version
(must through notary, check the original and submit replicate copy);
3. Foreign practicing certificate or practicing right credentials and Chinese
translated version (must through notary, check the original and submit replicate
copy);
4. Health certificate of foreign practitioner (health certificate must be
issued by International Traveling Health Center of Shanghai Entry-Exit
Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, address: No. 1791, Hami Road);
5. The testimonial or agreement of the invitation or employment unit or the
responsibility declaration letter on assuming related civil responsibility; (For
application of short-term practicing in China, there must be agreement with the
medical institute of China, if employed by many units, there shall be respective
agreements.)
6. Valid identity credential (passport, entry visa, check the original and
submit replicate copy);
7. 2 small 2-inch photos (without hat) (one is to be stuck on the application
form);
8. The replicate copy of the medical institute operation certificate
(including medical institute name, institute registration number, address,
postal code, diagnosis subject)
Note: 1. The regulation applies to medical practitioners form Hong Kong,
Macao Special Administrative Region, Taiwan region;
2. If the registration period needs to be prolonged, the registration shall
be re-performed according to the regulation.
