Establishment of a private clinic or nursing station follows the basic standards for medical institutions, and requires sufficient funding and an appropriate site. The business scope of private clinics or nursing stations is traditional Chinese medicine, dentistry and nursing.
The applicant for the establishment of a private clinic (including partnership) or a private nursing station must meet the following requirements:
1) Have permanent residential registration in Shanghai;
2) Have professional qualifications as a doctor or nurse, with clinical experience of five years or more in the same profession;
3) Must not be an in-service employee
