There are two such special teams in Shanghai. The higher-level municipal team is responsible for major cases. The lower-level district team is responsible for minor cases.
All members of both teams are qualified doctors or medical workers who have occupied high-level posts, such as technical expert, for at least three years.
Legal medical experts, if they are also qualified doctors, are also eligible to serve on the teams.
