Persons coming under one of the circumstances prescribed in Article 22 of Administration Methods on Chinese Citizens Going to and fro Taiwan Region or those who can enter the boundary of the People’s Republic of china after getting approval from relevant competent authorities according to regulations, the port visa organ does not process their application for an endorsement.

1. To present for examination valid Taiwan resident identification cards, certifications on entry and exit of Taiwan or Pass for Taiwan Compatriots Traveling to and from Inland Areas;

2. To fill in the Application Form on Taiwan Residents Going for Port Visa (or Endorsement);

3. To submit two 2”full-faced colored pictures of the applicant which are taken recently;

Note: Entry-Exit Administration Bureau of Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau issues Pass for Taiwan Compatriots Traveling to and from Inland Areas valid for one trip to Taiwan residents who do not have a valid Pass for Taiwan Compatriots Traveling to and from Inland Areas and endorsement; the ones with a valid Pass for Taiwan Compatriots Traveling to and from Inland Areas but not an endorsement are issued a single-journey endorsement.

Administration Methods on Chinese Citizens Going to and fro Taiwan Region
