If you are below 16 years of age and hold permanent local residence, and you are in urgent need of an ID card for schooling, employment, outside activities or notarization you can apply for rush issue of an ID card.
You should go to the police station in the district or country of your registered residence, bringing a written application, your household registration, an explanation from your employer or the neighborhood committee and two recent photos.
The police officers will check your application materials and complete a form indicating the result and will then put all the materials into a sealed envelop.
You must bring the envelope yourself to the city's Certificate Making Center (NO 185 Fuzhou Road). The center will issue the ID card within seven days of receiving the envelope.
