How do I apply to change the information in my household registration?

If you want to change information concerning educational background, marriage, military service, height, religion or job, you, or the main family member holding the household registration, should go to the police station in the district or county of your registered residence to apply for the changes. You should bring your household registration, documentation of academic credentials, marriage certificate, employee card or related certificate provided by your employers.
If you want to change information concerning name, birth date, nationality, place of birth, sex or the main family member holding the registration, you must go to the police station yourself.
