The Internet Access Service Business Management Regulation states that web cafes and other Internet access businesses are allowed to open between 8am and 12 pm every day. It also states that they must employ management technologies and strategies to prevent access to non-web games. Violators will be notified by cultural administrative authorities and fined no more than 15,000 yuan. Those found to be in serious violation will be required to suspend operation to carry out renovations or will have their business license revoked.
