The performance of the labour contracts shall, within the period of the labour contract, be suspended where (1) the labourers shall enlist in the armed forces or fulfill other legal duties prescribed by the state; (2) the labourers are not able to fulfill their obligations under the labour contracts for a temporary period of time but the conditions and possibility of the continuative fulfillment whereof remain; and/or (3) other cases stipulated by laws and regulations or agreed upon under the labour contracts occur. Where the above cases for suspension disappear, the performance of the labour contracts shall be continued, unless otherwise stipulated by the laws and regulations.
