At present, there are such organs for inspection of interior air as scientific research academy, enterprises and institutions and some inspection organs. Some of the organs do not have corresponding inspection capability, and the "Label for Authentication on Acceptable Measurement" shown to consumers is not issued for examination of household environment. Organs without qualifications are not professional, and those with qualifications are not fit for inspection work of ordinary homes. Then, whom we should turn to for inspection work on household air pollution that ordinary people are worried about? Consumers can know about characteristics of inspection organs in the following aspects: first, to check if there is the label of CMA on inspection report. Measurement authentication is a rigorous assessment the supervisory department on technique of the state is doing on testing capability, operation process, requirement on staff and instrument indexes of inspection organs. Next, to check if there are inspection content in their interior environment inspection in the inspection items approved by CMA; still, to check if there are technique indexes at inspection site which meet the international standard on inspection instrument, and if the inspection is done in accordance with international standard. Up to now, only Station of Supervision and Inspection on Interior Decoration Quality of Shanghai has passed the measurement authentication of interior environment inspection.
