Are components in a whole set of machine, which are listed in the product catalog, required to bear the CCC symbol?
(06/02/2004)

If the whole machine is a product listed in the catalogue, its components, which are also listed in the catalog, do not have to apply for CCC certification separately. However, these components shall be inspected together with the whole machine. In order to quick the speed of certification and to alleviate the pressure on enterprises that use or exports whole machines, the government encourages separate certification of components listed in the catalog. If the whole machine is not listed in the catalog, its components are not required to apply for certification and testing. However, components listed in the catalog need certification if they are to be imported and sold separately.
