Authority: Any administrative departments of religious affairs at the district or county level
Application Procedures: Any and all state-owned and collectively-owned enterprises and small industrial or commercial businesses producing and/or operating Muslim food making for application shall meet the following conditions: 1. the fields, equipments and facilities of production and/or operation shall meet the requirements of Muslim rules; 2. the ethnic minority citizens eating Muslim food in such enterprises and businesses shall mount to a certain portion of the main staff of administrative officials and employees; 3. the leading officials of such enterprises and small businessmen shall be trained for the industry of Muslim food and gain qualified certificates whereafter; and 4. the leading officials, contractors or leases of such enterprises and such small businessmen shall be the ethnic minority citizens eating Muslim food.
Procedures: Step One Application: Any and all enterprises and small industrial or commercial businesses of Muslim food in line with Article Eleven of Regulations of Shanghai Governing Muslim Food may present letters of application for sign board and documentation including 1. a documentation stating the portion of the ethnic minority employees; 2 duplicated copies of ID Card of such ethnic minority leading officials; 3 supply certificates of the main and supplementary raw materials; 4 qualified certificates of training; and 5 Registration Form of Review And Ratification for Muslim Food Production And Operation of Shanghai to the local administrative departments of religious affairs at the district or county level. Step Two Review and Issue: The administrative departments of religious affairs at the district or county level shall, upon the receipt of the aforesaid letters of application and required documentation, finish the review in ten working days, make replies in writing, and issue sign boards of Muslim food to those qualified.
