The citizen, legal person or other organization applying for the domestication and breeding of Shanghai municipal key protected wild animals should meet following preliminary requirements:

1. Having fixed places and necessary facilities proper to domesticate and breed wild animals;

2. Having enough capital, staff and technology for the domestication and breeding in species and quantity;

3. Having secured source of feedstuff for the domestication and breeding.

1. Application form for Domestication and Breeding License of Shanghai Municipal Key Protected Wild Animals;

2. Documents and photos certifying the right to use the domestication and breeding place, the fixed place and necessary facilities, the capital reservation, the invested fixed assets, the staff and technologic capability which are suitable for the animal species and quantity;

3. Feasibility report or overall plan of the domestication and breeding of wild animals;

4. Documents certifying the source of wild animals to be domesticated and bred;

5. Report of current domesticated and bred wild animals in species, quantities and health condition, copy of current Domestication and Breeding License and relevant approval documents, where additional domestication and breeding of new species is applied.

Charge standard: If the animal in trade is the offspring of artificial bred wild animal, 4% of the turnover will be charged on the sellers.
