Transaction procedures: 1. To apply to be engaged in the activities:
(1) To be engaged in profit-making Internet drug information services, applicants should file in a written application and submit the following materials:
a. 4 "Application Form on being Engaged in Internet drug information Services";
b. 2 copies respectively for plan on business development and relevant technical proposal;
c. Management measures to guarantee legal, true and safe medicine information source (two copies);
d. Business License or "Notice on Prior-approval of Enterprise Name" (copies) issued by industry and commerce administrative department;
e. Academic credentials of personnel with knowledge on laws and regulations on medicine management and knowledge on medicines (copies).
(2) To be engaged in non-profit-making Internet drug information services, applicants should file in a written application and submit the following materials
a. 4 "Application Form on being Engaged in Internet drug information Services";
b. Business License or "Notice on Prior-approval of Enterprise Name" (copies) issued by industry and commerce administrative department;
c. Academic credentials of personnel with knowledge on laws and regulations on medicine management and knowledge on medicines (copies)
(3) After Drug Administrative Bureau of Shanghai receives application materials, they should do a preliminary examination on profit-making website meeting conditions and submit the materials to the State Drug Administration for verification work within 30 workings; decisions on approving applications of those for non-profit-making websites meeting conditions are to be made and their application materials are to be reported to the State Drug Administration to be put on record. 

2. Application for alteration
(1) For those engaged in Internet drug information services after getting approval from drug administrative departments, if there is some alteration in the contents of their previous application, they should file in a written application as well as the following materials:
a. 4 "Application Forms on Alteration of Internet drug information Services";
b. Two copies of plan on business development and relevant technical proposal respectively;
c. Management measures to guarantee legal, true and safe medicine information source (two copies);
d. Business License or "Notice on Prior-approval of Enterprise Name" (copies) issued by industry and commerce administrative department;
e. Academic credentials of personnel with knowledge on laws and regulations on medicine management and knowledge on medicines (copies).
(2) After Drug Administrative Bureau of Shanghai receives complete application materials, they should do a preliminary examination on profit-making website meeting conditions and submit the materials to the State Drug Administration for verification work within 30 workings; decisions on approving applications of those for non-profit-making websites meeting conditions are to be made and their application materials are to be reported to the State Drug Administration to be put on record.
