Procedure: 1. Letter of Application
from the applicant.
2. Approval from district or county planning commission
or municipal supply and sales department
3. Approval from municipal planning,
fire proof, traffic police and other departments in regard to the selection of
gas station selection
Handling Procedure:
1. Sinopec Shanghai Branch,
PetroChina Southeast China Sales Department Shanghai Branch shall submit their
application to set up new petrol stations to district or county level planning
commission. District or county level planning commission shall submit the
application to Office of the Leading Panel of Petrol Market Supervision (at
Shanghai Development and Reform Commission (Department of Trade and
Development). Relevant procedures can be started after approval. After the
petrol station is built, it shall be checked by fire-proof, technology and
public security bureaus and "Acceptance Form of Petrol Stations Operation" will
be filled out, "Permit on Petrol Station" will be issued for the application of
business license. 2. District or county level supply and sales departments shall
be responsible for submitting the application to renovate and relocate petrol
stations in rural areas. After preliminary approval, the application will be
submitted to Office of the Leading Panel of Petrol Market Supervision.
