What is a trademark?
(01/15/2003)

A trademark can be a word, letter, figure or combination thereof including two-dimensional images such as pictures or symbols. The current laws in China have not as yet included the protection of three-dimensional images. A trademark shall be perceptible and easily distinguished so that the consumer can distinguish the product and service identified by the trademark from those of the same kind marketed by others.
