Application Procedures:
1. Letter of application.
2. Fill out "Application Form for Foreign Experts"
3. Copies of degree certificate of the foreign experts and teachers to be recruited.
4. Copies of valid passport and visa of the foreign experts and teachers to be recruited
5. Four passport photos (2 inches) of the foreign experts and teachers to be recruited.
6. If the experts and teachers are already working in China, then the recommendation letter from the current employer shall be submitted.
Handling Procedures:
1. Handling of application.
2. Approval from Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
3. "Note on Visa" and "Foreign Experts Confirmation" issued by Shanghai Municipal Foreign Affairs Office.
4. When the expert or teacher is recruited, the employer shall fill out two copies of the "Application Form for Foreign Experts Certificate". It shall submit the original copy of employment agreement to Shanghai Municipal Foreign Affairs Office for the issuance of "Foreign Experts Certificate".
