What rules apply to work contracts?
(01/15/2003)

All work contracts must follow the principle of equality and consistency, and must be signed voluntarily by both parties.
The employer must be a legal person with the right to hire employees. The employee must be over 16 years of age, or over 18 years of age in the case of heavy physical labor.

The terms of the contract--such as period of employent, duties, payment, work regulations and termination--must comply with the governing laws and regulations.
