Collective land refers to the land collectively owned in rural area.

According to Article 8 from "Law on Land Management of People's Republic of China", land at rural area and suburbs of cities, except for the land regulated to be owned by the state, belongs to farmers collectively. Substance homestead, family plot and mountain belong to farmers collectively.
