Duration of Procedures: Decisions will be made and informed to the applicant within 30 days after the receipt of the application.
Qualification of Applicants:
1. Any domestic (foreign) companies, social organizations, other organizations and individuals who give up regular science and technology prizes to enterprises, industries, departments or certain companies with its own funds or non-governmental funds.
2. The prize shall abide by the constitution of the People's Republic of China and other relevant laws and regulations. It shall also be in conformity with the policy of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, promote the advancement of science and technology, and bring about coordinated and sustainable development of our society.
3. The prizes shall be given out in an open, fair and just way. Scientific and democratic evaluation and selection procedures shall be established and the prizes shall be open to the public.
4. Projects or responsible staff of confidential projects that bears on the security of national defense and state safety shall not be recommended or apply for such prizes. Relevant documents shall be provided for projects or responsible staff of such projects that are no longer confidential.
5. The prizes can only be given out after being approved and registered.
6. Name of the prize shall be scientific and exact and in conformity with the purposes of the prize itself.
