Application formalities: applicant to set up units for film distribution
should submit the following materials: 1. Written authorization on
enterprise name issued by administrative departments of industry and
commerce; 2. A written application, including such contents as name, address,
economic nature of the film distribution unit, and name, address and
certificates of qualifications of its legal representative; sum and sources of
its capital; 3. Certificates on their asset credit; 4. Real estate
ownership certificate or housing lease contract of their business ground; 5.
Other documents related to application conditions.
Transaction procedures: applicants file in the application to transaction
department, who is to make a decision on whether to approve the application or
not within 30 days from the day when they accept the application, giving a
written reply to the applicant. Those getting approval can be issued a "Permit
on Film Distribution". Applicants for film distribution units across
different provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities are to file the
application to the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television. Such film
distribution units should put on record at their transaction department if they
