Which medical expenses can be paid with the Municipal Medical Insurance Fund?

The Municipal Medical Insurance Fund of Basic Medical Insurance is made up of the Basic Medical Insurance charge by the participant¡¯s workplace organization, excluding the part put into the Individual Medical account as required. The Municipal Medical Insurance Fund may be used to pay the following medical expenses in compliance with the rules of Basic Medical Insurance:

(1) Part of the incurred medical expenses for a participant¡¯s hospitalization or emergency treatment;

(2) part of the incurred medical expenses for a participant¡¯s clinical treatment of severe uremia dialysis, as well as the chemical or radiation treatment of malignant tumor(s), and

(3) part of the incurred medical expenses for a participants at-home medical care.
