Will the occasional misappropriation of public utility expenses be listed on adverse credit records?
(02/19/2008)

This is decided by the extent of one¡¯s misappropriation, including factors such as the period of misappropriation, the frequency of misappropriation, etc. However, not all information regarding misappropriation is reflected in an individual credit report.

Public utility institutions have standards on the definition of the extent of the misappropriation of expenses. In general, only the behavior that exceeds the time limit on multiple occasions over a relatively long period of time will be placed on a misappropriation list; such records will not be placed on a "blacklist" of general significance, hence these will only be handled as ordinary records. Additionally, under ordinary circumstances, public utility institutions will conduct official verifications and give a notification before determining a misappropriation listing.
