Under the supervision of Mayor Liangyu Chen, the Shanghai Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Commission and the Shanghai Information Office cooperated to integrate the Shanghai Economic and Trade Network, Shanghai EDI Center, and Port EDI Center.

In October 2001, Easipass completed the integration of the three websites, developed and set up a one-face window providing port and logistic information in Shanghai (www.easipass.com), achieving a "Three in One" service. Currently, it has over 17,000 corporate clients.

Easipass includes a platform for port and logistic information and services and an EDI data exchange platform, offering logistic information services, logistic operational services, and logistic information exchanges to port administrative departments and corporate clients as well. It is a platform where companies are able to enquire about port logistic operational data, achieve clear document transfers and tracking, and acquire all-around logistic information and technological services.
