The scope of information security certification held by the Shanghai Information Security Testing Evaluation and Certification Center are as follows:

(1) Approved by China's National Accreditation Committee for Laboratories (CNACL), the catalogue (category) of products which can be certificated by the Shanghai Information Security Testing Evaluation and Certification Center is as follows:

- Anti-repudiation Products

- Commercial Encryption Products (authorized by national administrations)

- Products for preventing Information Interference and Leakage

(2) The Shanghai Testing and Evaluation Center is authorized by the National Information Security Testing Evaluation and Certification Center to provide testing and evaluation services in name of the Shanghai Testing and Evaluation Center affiliated to the National Information Security Testing Evaluation and Certification Center. Nine categories of information security products are included:

- Firewall

- Router

- Proxy server

- Invasion detection system

- Network safety scanner

- On-line security exchange system

- Office software with security system

- E-mail protection software

- PKI/CA

(3) Perform security certification on various municipal information network systems according to the related policies, regulations and specifications.

(4) With the authorization and commission of governmental information security administrations, provide necessary technical support and services to the administration and execution of law.
