Is it the same when watching television programs through new or old networks, and can one still watch television programs without reconstructing the network?
(03/24/2008)

When watching television programs, the quality of programs through the new networks is better.

The frequency settings differ slightly between the new and the old networks. On the new network, OTV Channel 1, STV Channel 1, and CATV Channel 1 in the VHF range have been moved to Channel 16, 18, 19 in UHF range respectively. Therefore, resetting the TV set is required when switching between the old and new networks. Additionally, the new network has an enhanced bandwidth, thus having a larger capacity of programs. As long as a CATV-compatible full-channel TV set is used, more and more TV programs will be able to be watched.

Furthermore, the old network will be gradually eliminated after the new network starts running. If no duplex reconstruction is performed, the normal way of watching TV programs will be affected.
