How should one suspend, resume, transfer, change their user information, terminate or pay arrears for their Cable Modem service?

To suspend, resume or transfer the service, one should bring their identification card (or Military ID or passport), to apply for the service change in their local office. To suspend the service, one should pay a handling charge of RMB 50 along with the information charge and the arrears of the month in cash. No extra handling charge is needed when resuming the service. (A suspension or resumption takes instant effect after the procedure). For transferring the service, no preferential price is available when installing terminals in a new location.

To change one's user information, they should take their identification card (or Military ID or passport) to the local office. For new users, they should additionally take their real-name current deposit book for ICBC (with the name of the new user), to go through the procedures at the local office. The first deduction after the change of the bank account will be from the new account.

For leaseholders, to terminate the service, they should take their identification card (or Military ID or passport) to the local office. If they are still in the lease, they should also bring the cable modem in use and all its accessories, and go through the procedures at the local office.

To pay all arrears, one should bring their latest arrears notice and go through the procedures at the local office.
