The following documents should be submitted by individuals who want to engage in the sale and leasing of books, newspapers and magazines:

(1) A letter of application, indicating the store name, address, applicant's name and address;

(2) the residence permit of local or non-local Hukou holders;

(3) evidential documents proving the use of office venue (e.g. a lease contract or the property ownership certificate of the party leasing out the property);

(4) the floor plan of the store;

(5) the name of store (three names should be submitted), and

(6) the ID certificate or qualifications of the applicant.
