"Trademark law" is the general term of legal norms to regulate and normalize
the social relationship arising out of the registration, use and administration
of trademarks.
China promulgated the Trademark Law of the People¡¯s Republic of China,
adopted at the 24th Session of the Standing Committee of the Fifth National
People's Congress on August 23rd 1982, and amended for the second time according
to the Decision on Revision of the Trademark Law of the People¡¯s Republic of
China adopted at the 24th Session of the Standing Committee of the Ninth
National People's Congress on October 27th 2001, which further strengthens
China¡¯s legal system on trademarks.
