There are two choices for foreign youngsters and kids who wish to get educated in Shanghai. First, they can choose to study in local public or private-sponsored kindergartens or primary or middle schools. Such applications can be submitted to district or county level education bureaus. Second, they can choose to study in schools for children of expatriates in Shanghai (often known as international school). Application can be submitted directly to such schools.
