| Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng met a delegation led by Kim Wan-joo, Governor of
Jeollabukdo, Korea, at city hall yesterday evening. "Since the friendships
establishment, Shanghai and Jeollabukdo have extended cooperation in economy,
business trade and other fields. At present, many people from Korea are studying
and living in Shanghai, and many Korean companies are investing here," said Han.
He also added that he believes Kim Wan-joo's visit to the city would further
enhance their relations. Kim Wan-joo thanked Shanghai's citizens for their
hospitality. He said he hoped that Shanghai and Jeollabukdo would further
strengthen their cooperation in economy, education and culture.

Rasmussen, ex-chairman and current chairman of the board of A.P. Moeller Maersk
Group, Denmark, at city hall yesterday afternoon.
"Shanghai is speeding
up construction of its international shipping center, which is in great demand
and stands as a symbol of China's reform and opening-up, as well as its economic
development. Shanghai welcomes international groups like Maersk to join in the
construction," said Han.
He also compared Maersk to an International
Aircraft Carrier, as Maersk's management experience is worth learning. Han also
said Shanghai welcomes Maersk to take part in the construction of the Yangshan
Deep-Water Port.
Moellor and Rasmussen expressed their willingness to
further cooperate with Shanghai.
