Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng yesterday met Ahn Sang-soo, Mayor of Incheon in South Korea.

Han said that Shanghai would give its full support to the Beijing Olympics this year. He also expects the Shanghai 2010 World Expo to be a successful global event.

Han also offered his best wishes to Ahn and Incheon, host of the 2014 Asian Games.

Ahn appreciated the help of Shanghai in Incheon’s bidding for the 2014 Asian Games. He said Incheon expected closer cooperation and mutual beneficial situations with Shanghai in its construction of a logistics and business center as well as in cultural fields.
