Ever since China opened up to the world in 1980's, the Shanghai Municipal Government, led by the Communist Party of China and the State Council, makes great effort to build the city into an international economic, financial, trade and shipping center. The General Squdron of Traffic and Patrol Police Warns About Certain Road Sections with Traffic Jam In the Hot Summer

Under the heat of the sun, roads in Shanghai, especially viaducts, are faced with more and more traffic pressure and there are quite a few road sections tht become bottleneck areas with a lot of traffic jams. The General Squdron of Traffic and Patrol Police warned local citizens that the following road sections may be crowded at certain times.

7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The inner side of inner ring road: Huang Xing Road - He Jian Road, Tian Yao Qiao Road - Wan Ping Road; Southern side of Yan'an Road Viaduct: Hong Jin Road - Lou Shan Guan Road, Jiang Su Road - Mao Ming Road, Yan'an Road East Intersection - Fu Jian Road; Western side of North-South Viaduct: Luo Chuan Road - Yan'an Road East Intersection; Eastern side of Yan'an Road Intersection: Xu Jia Hui Road - Yan'an Road East Intersection; Southern Part of Hu Min Road Viaduct: Liu Zhou Road - Pu Hui Tang Road.

13:30 p.m. - 16:30 p.m. The outer side of inner ring road: Wu Ning Road - Jin Sha Jiang Road, Long Hua Road - Wan Ping Road; Northern side of Yan'an Road Viaduct: Jiang Su Road - Yan'an Road West Intersection, Southern side of Yan'an Road: Hong Xu Road - Lou Shan guan Road, Yan'an Road East Intersetion - Fu Jian Road; Western Side of North-South Viaduct: Xin Zha Road - Yan'an Road East Intersection; Eastern side of Yan'an Road Intersection - Tian Mu Road Intersection.

17:00 p.m. - 18:30 p.m. Inner side of inner ring Road: Lu Ban Road Intersection - Rui Jin Road, Wu Zhong Road - Yan'an Road West Intersection - Wu Ning Road; Northern side of Yan'an Road Viaduct: Yan'an Road East Intersection; Southern side of Yan'an Road Viaduct: Jiangsu Road - Hua Shan Road; Estern side of North-South Viaduct: Lu Ban Road Intersection - Tian Mu Road Circuit Intersection

7:00 a.m. - 17: 30 p.m. The outer side of inner ring rod: Da Bai Shu - Guang Zhong Road, Wu Ning Road - Jin Sha Jiang Road, Xin Hua Road - Wu Zhong Road.

The traffic and patrol police warned drivers to choose a proper route so as to avoid traffic jam.
