Shanghai Urban Traffic Bureau Began the Compiling of "Eleventh Five-year Program" on Urban Traffic Planning

Shanghai Urban Traffic Bureau pays attention to linking urban traffic planning and the overall development of the city, to linking the progressional traffic planning at both the city and the district level, to linking the district planning and the unit planning in order to promote the compiling of "Eleventh Five-year Program" on urban traffic planning.

According to the principle of combining planning, construction and administration, while evaluating the urban traffic planning of the "Tenth Five-year Program", the bureau is working hard on the compiling of the "Eleventh Five-year Program". It has now dtafted te "Guideline for the lanning of Urban Transportation in Shanghai", making clear that the urban planning in Shanghai is made up of city-level and district-level planning and is made up of professional planning, systematic planning, project-based planning, including the fie aspects of public ransportation, goods transportation, public parking, traffic technology and traffic guarantee. The compiling of the plan should adhere to the principle of two-level administration and two-level interaction so that the plan will be better implemented.
