Medicine Price Down Again in Shanghai to Standardize Medicine Selling Price and Drive "3 Medical" Joint-Reform

To standardize the medicine selling price, drive the "3 medical" joint-reform, and reduce the patients expense on medicines, Shanghai Committee of Development and Reform (Shanghai Bureau of Commodity Price) will adjust the upper-limit retailing prices of about 560 types of anti-infection medicines in Shanghai market according to the adjustment regulation of 24 kinds of medicines by the State Committee of Development and Reform and the regulations of medicine price management in Shanghai. Shanghai Committee of Development and Reform (Shanghai Bureau of Commodity Price) made the above announcement on June 2nd.
About 90 types of anti-infection medicines were made 30% off in terms of selling price last July in Shanghai. In this adjustment, all the 24 kinds, 560 types of medicines are the most common anti-infection ones including Amoxicillin, Levofloxacin and Azithromycin, the average price off of which is about 20%. The citizens may check the details of price-off by visiting the government website . Shanghai Committee of Development and Reform (Shanghai Bureau of Commodity Price) said it would keep improving the medicine price supervision and examination. The citizens may dial 12350 to complain or report those refuse to drop the price as required.
