More Than Ten Thousand Passengers Sign To Become Passengers With Decent Behavior.¡°Passenger Booklet For Rail Traffic¡±Published

11/19/2004

On July 1st, an activity called¡°Sign to become passengers with decent behavior¡±, participated by more then ten thousand passengers, and was held in Rail Traffic Line 1,2,3,5 and Meg-lev Line. More than ten thousand passengers signed solemnly their names and promised to¡°Be good passengers. Let others go first and guarantee the orderliness in rail traffic lines.¡±

It is reported that the average number of rail traffic passengers in Shanghai is over 1.3 million. However, some passengers have such bad habits as littering, damaging card, not buying tickets and trying as much as possible to get a seat. All these are not in accordance with our city image. Starting from this year, many rail traffic lines have organized activities to promote decent behavior such as queuing in line. Let those who get off go first and give off your seats. Right now, in the eight terminal stations in Rail Traffic Line 1,2,3,5 and other big stations like People¡¯s Square and Shanghai Railway Station, traffic is getting orderly.

¡°Passenger Booklet For Rail Traffic¡±was published for the first time yesterday. The booklet will be delivered to local citizens for free. Passengers can find useful information about lines, stops, surrounding bus stops, stores, scenic spots, ticket prices and consulting telephone. With this booklet, passengers will have no worry while taking rail traffic at all.
