Shanghai Telecom Launches New Version of "Phone Bill", Benefiting Clients With Small Bills

Starting from July 1, with the approval of Shanghai Municipal Telecommunication Administration Bureau, Shanghai Telecom will launch the new version of "Phone Bill" business, benefiting more clients with small telephone bills. Clients only have to pay 10% of the average of their bill in the past six months and their monthly payment. Shanghai Telecom will offer 50% of this amount to the clients as a bonus. Also, Shanghai Telecom will give incentives to clients according to the bill of clients. Clients who apply for this service from July 1 to August 31, 2004 will receive their bonus and prizes from January to the end of July next year.

It is reported that more than 50% of the clients of Shanghai Telecom use less than RMB 50 each month.
