"It is worthwhile to pay RMB 1000 each month." Watermelon vendor Zhu said at the crossroad of He Ze Road and Bo Xing Road in Pu Xing District Community. He was also busy selling his watermelons. In the past, he used to play hide-and-seek games with urban image administration staff. Now, he found a nice place to sell his watermelons in Pu Xing District Community in Pu Dong New Area. According to the latest regulation of Pu Dong New Area Government, temporary watermelon selling points are allowed in areas outside inner ring road. It provides reat conveniences to watermelon vendors and local citizens.

"In the past, watermelon vendors just sold their watermelons along the road. They also slept and eat there. There were often a lot of rotten watermelons as well. You can imagine the smell in summer." A staff of the district community said, "Now, a special canvas was set up and rubbish are carried away each day." The journalist noticed that selling points of the vendors were in order and they have not occupied the sidewalk.

Watermelon vendor Zhu was quite satisfied. "I have been selling watermelons for three to four years. In the past, I have no selling points and I always play hide-and-seek games. Now, although the fee for the selling point isn't cheap, there are still quite a lot of vendors who want to rent." Since Pu Xing District Community locates at a good position, one vendor can sell 5 tons of watermelon in one weekend. Therefore, the 40 selling points in the district community were soon rented out.
