Shanghai Education Development Fund Donates To the Middle School Affiliated to Shanghai Music Academy to Help students Realize Their Dreams With Pianos

Recently, the middle school affiliated to Shanghai Music Academy had its first Stanway grand piano, which was bought with the donation from Shanghai Education Development Fund. The donation ceremony was held on the afternoon of June 4 in the small music hall of the middle school, during which Shanghai Education and Development Fund donated RMB 500,000 Yuan to the primary school. Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal CPPCC and President of Shanghai Education and Development Fund Madam Xie Lijuan attended the donation ceremony.

This February, when Shanghai Municipal CPPCC knew that Shanghai Music Academy and its affiliated middle school do not have high-quality piano for their courses, it immediately worked to raise money for them. Then, with RMB 1.5 million, part of which donated by Shanghai Education and Development Fund, the middle school bought a high-quality grand piano. Yesterday, headmaster of the middle school and famous pianist Zhao Xiaosheng played on the piano for the first time excitedly. Many other teachers and students also gave their performances.
