After the national video conference on making government affaires open to the public held on September 25th,, Luo Shiqian, deputy Party Secretary and secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission of Shanghai presided over Shanghai meeting place; in his speech, he asked all departments and all counties and districts to make further efforts, to be highly responsible for the Party and the mass, and do a practical job of making governmental affaires open to the public, deepen the job and get more achievements from it. Luo Shiqian stressed that arrangements have been made for us to further push forward the work of making governmental affaires open in speeches made by Wu Guanzheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Government and the secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of CPC and by Hua Jianmin, secretary general of the State Council, which are significantly instructive for us to conscientiously study the important speech made by Hu Jintao on the meeting of commemorating“July 1st incident”and to stick to taking the important theory of“Three Represents”as our guideline and to implement the essence of 16th People’s Congress in an all-rounded way and deepen the work of making governmental affaires open. We should take practical situation of Shanghai into consideration and conscientiously implement the essence of the meeting.
Luo shiqian pointed out that for years, governmental organs on all levels of Shanghai have played important roles in pushing forward making government affaires open. During the early part of June of this year, on the meeting of checking unhealthy tendency and making governmental affaires open held on municipal level, focus is put on fostering a serving government, responsible government and legal government, and new goals and tasks are set to deepen the work of making governmental affaires open. On the meeting, Feng Guoqin, member of the Standing committee of the Municipal Party committee and deputy mayor, reviewed the work of Shanghai in its efforts to promote making governmental affaires open, and made arrangements for future work.
