Jiao Yang, the spokeswoman of Shanghai Municipal Government said on May 12th, Shanghai is to practice the system of pre-publicizing online the arrangement for receiving citizen call from May.
According to the system, based on reception date by leaders previously set to be Thursday, departments and organs on municipal and district as well as county level are to pre-arrange names, position, and responsibilities of leaders receiving public call as well as time and place for reception, and publicize the arrangement on gateway website of Shanghai to make it convenient for citizens for information inquiry.
The system is an important measure for Shanghai to implement "Regulations on Shanghai Publicizing governmental Information", to closely link Government and its people. Recently, the sub-column "Call Reception" has been opened officially under the column of "Governmental Information Publicizing" on the gateway website of Shanghai, which has included addresses and reception time of Shanghai municipal Party committee, the municipal Government, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (C.P.P.C.C.) of Shanghai, the court and the procuratorate as well as all organs for call reception in departments, committees and bureaus in Shanghai, and other detailed information for citizen call reception.
