It is determined by Shanghai government that the May of every year will be the "Appealing Month for Credit". This is in the reply of relevant governmental authority to the proposal of some members of Shanghai Committee of CPPCC. It is reported that there will all types of propaganda, education and training activities in the city in next month.

Zhang Gang, a member of Shanghai Committee of CPPCC and the president of Shanghai Cobtt Bio-Fitness Products Co., Ltd., submitted a proposal in the conference of committee of CPPCC suggesting there be an appealing month for credit in Shanghai to spread the credit education in all industries.

It is disclosed in the reply to this proposal, Shanghai municipal government has determined to assign the Shanghai Credit Inquiry Management Office in Shanghai Municipal Information Commission to work as a functional department for accelerating the credit system construction and a supervisory department over credit service institutions. Upon the requirement by CPC Shanghai Committee and Shanghai municipal government, Shanghai Credit Inquiry Office has take the propaganda of credit as a key work in the construction of Shanghai credit system. Since next month, Shanghai will carry out the propaganda of credit system and all types of credit management activities, as well ask for the theme, symbol and activities in the appealing month from the social public.
