"Credit Management Talents" are not enough to meet the increasing demand of
credit system construction in Shanghai. It is learned from the introduction
conference held by municipal Informatization Committee on February 9 that since
this year, Shanghai will put the training of credit management into the training
system for urgent-needed talents and explore the certification system for the
professionalism in credit service industry.
Since 2005, there will be training and examinations for the "Credit
Management Talents". It is introduced that the training and examination of
"Credit Management Talents" will be carried out in different levels. The
training of credit management for professionals and managers applies to the
professional managerial staff in enterprises and is carried out by compiling
text books, stipulate examination outline and setting independent training and
examination institutions and in a socialized and marketized operation way. The
instructive credit training for governmental officials and state civil servant
is mainly the basic knowledge of credit management and will be finished within 3
years since this year and in a rotation way. All the trainees must pass the
unified examination. The popularization and educational training of credit
knowledge for citizens aim to spreading the credit ethics, changing credit
ideas, preventing credit-caused risks and teaching how to use credit tools. The
training and examination of eligibility for credit service employees aim at
those for credit investigation, credit evaluation, credit ranking, credit
management consultation and commercial payment insistence. The training and
examination institutions also need be separated.
